Easy use

CPU AC500-eCo
Based on the successful AC500 range, the AC500-eco PLC provides a flexible and competitive configuration for simple applications.
Features
- Compact and modular PLC with 128kB of program memory (512kB for the PM556-TP-ETH).
- Minimum cycle time for 1 instruction: bit: 0.08μs, word: 0.1μs and floating point: 1.2μs.
- Powerful programming according to IEC 61131-3 using 5 languages: LD, ST, FBD, IL and SFC.
- Possibility of expansion with up to 10 E/SS500 and/or S500-eco modules.
- Very easy wiring of S500-eco I/O modules using screw or spring-loaded detachable terminal blocks with front or side connection.
- Possibility to configure the inputs/outputs integrated in the CPU: interrupt inputs, fast counting and PWM outputs.
- Real Time Clock (RTC).
- Persistent data without battery (ability to maintain the value of the data without the need for a battery in the event of a power cut).
- Optional and standard SD card for user program download, firmware update and data logger.
Multiple communication options
- Possibility of having up to two serial ports (1 integrated port and another optional) for programming and Modbus RS485 communication.
- There is also a CPU with an integrated Ethernet port for programming and communication. Integrated web server and FTP server.
- Embedded web server for AC500-eCo CPU with Ethernet., which allows you to create custom visualizations with the Web Viewer.
Interfaces/Protocols
- The Ethernet interface can be used for programming and communication (SNTP, DHCP, UDP, Modbus TCP, HTTP and FTP protocols).
- The serial interface COM1 (RS485) can be used for programming, communication or as remote I/O (MODBUS RTU protocols, CS31 master for remote I/O or ASCII).
- The optional COM2 (RS485) serial interface can be used for programming or communication (MODBUS RTU or ASCII protocols).

- AC500-eCo CPUs allow local expansion with up to 10 I/O modules, either S500 and/or S500-eCo modules in any desired combination.
- S500-eco modules are also compatible with AC500 CPUs.
