The CONTACTRON speed starter is the equipment, with particularly intuitive management, that fills the gap between motor starters and frequency converters.
This compact solution offers all the functions needed for most of your applications: direct start and torque reversal, soft start, motor protection, emergency stop via Safe Torque Off, different speeds and ramp functionality.

Safety first – Safe Torque Off function
The built-in safety function facilitates use in safety-relevant emergency stop applications without the need for additional protection circuitry. Safe Torque Off or STO (Safe Torque Off) ensures that your engine is no longer receiving power for rotation. As a result, it will no longer be possible to generate any force once fired.
