Functionality
This tool allows us to find the right pipe or pipe system.
The material, the operating temperature and the pressure are decisive in selecting the right pipe system. This calculation tool helps you to correctly combine the parameters and find the optimal system.
How it works?
- First, select the application: water, gas or industry or other means.
- Then enter your temperature and pressure units (° C and bar o ° F and psi) and the desired material. You can set or remove the dependency between the pressure and the temperature value.
- Then enter the desired ambient temperature, working pressure, and service life.
- As a result, the design factor of the material is shown in the parameters and in the graph you will see an overview of the temperature and pressure up to which the selected material can be used, as well as its own input for comparison.
If you have selected multiple materials, you can also view the pressure / temperature curve separately by clicking on the corresponding material below the graph. You can then print the results or email them.
